The 654 hiking trail is a ring path that starts from the old town of Narni, reaches the Cardona wood to go back again in town in an itinerary among history and nature.

The hike (E difficulty) of almost 12 kilometers starts in front of the Cathedral of San Giovenale, passes to Piazza Garibaldi and arrives at Romana Gate to go back again up the cliff.Â
Once reached Feronia Spring the itinerary passes nearby La Scogliera location and, after reaching the valley, goes up again until Cardona Bridge.
Arriving to the Albornoz Fortress, the itinerary continues toward the San Giuseppe novitiate Consoling Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, to go then toward the Castle of San Girolamo to go back again towards the old town of Narni passing before under Ternana Gate, then next to the Church of Santa Margherita and, finally, arriving from Via del Pozzo della Comunità , back again to the Cathedral.
